• Fitter:

• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning or broken equipment.

• Welder:

• Cut materials into the required shapes, checking dimensions and thicknesses.
• Weld or join metal and other materials into a wide range of structures.

• Electrician:

• Perform regular preventive maintenance on equipment, wiring, and devices.
• Repair and replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on inspection results.

• Mechanical:

• Assist senior fitters in assembling and installing mechanical systems.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks as per specifications.

·       Installation of consumer energy meters and service cables at consumer premises.

·       Installation of DT meters, SMC boxes, DT cables, and CT connections.

·       Consumer awareness during meter installation.

·       Coordination with GMR Supervisors, DISCOM Teams, and consumers as required.

·       Material collection and deposition from warehouses to DISCOM premises.

·       Daily material reconciliation.

·       Updating installation data in the mobile application along with the meter replacement note.

·       Site visits for O&M of smart meters.

·       Any other duties related to meter installation, consumer indexing, and O&M.
