Key Responsibilities
Mechanical engineers are involved in creating new equipment and modifying existing machinery to meet the specific requirements of the refinery.
They oversee the installation of new equipment and piping systems, ensuring that constructions align with design drawings and specifications.
A significant part of their role involves developing and executing maintenance plans, including predictive maintenance, to keep machinery in good working order and minimize downtime.
They analyze operational difficulties, diagnose issues with equipment, and implement solutions to ensure continuous operations.
Mechanical engineers are responsible for making sure that all equipment and processes adhere to strict safety regulations and industry standards.
They continuously monitor equipment performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Mechanical engineers collaborate with project managers on resource allocation, scheduling, and tracking of projects from conception to completion.
Preference to the experience- Experience in the fabrication/erection/construction of pipeline systems,equipment,storage tanks etc., in any chemical process plants or hydrocarbon processing facilities.
