Job Description:

Reliance Retail invites applications for Registered Pharmacist positions in Patiala, Punjab. As a Registered Pharmacist at Reliance Retail, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and accurate dispensing of medications, maintaining inventory, and providing excellent customer service to our valued patients.

Responsibilities:

• Check the prescription of the patient and dispense medications accurately to inpatient and outpatient pharmacies at Reliance Retail.

• Verify the expiry dates of medicines during dispensing and manage near-expiry medication by conducting regular stocktaking and returning expired products to vendors.

• Maintain meticulous records of drug purchases and sales to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Promote and increase sales of Over-The-Counter (OTC) drugs to enhance revenue at Reliance Retail.

• Manage inventory of store medications, conduct regular stock checks, and replenish inventory as needed.

• Record all transactions accurately in the cash register and manage financial aspects of pharmacy operations.

• Address patient queries regarding medications promptly and professionally to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Adhere strictly to all pharmacy regulatory laws and guidelines to maintain operational compliance and safety.

• Build and nurture customer relationships to foster loyalty and increase sales volume at Reliance Retail.

• Maintain a high standard of accuracy to ensure zero medication errors while dispensing medications to patients.

Requirements:

• D. Pharmacy with a minimum of 3 years of experience (after registration), or B. Pharmacy with minimum 1 year of experience (after registration), or M. Pharmacy - Freshers.

• Proficiency in MS Office applications is essential; knowledge of SAP is preferred.

• Strong teamwork and networking skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and healthcare professionals.

• Process-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to handling pharmacy operations at Reliance Retail.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with patients and healthcare providers.
