    Job Description:-

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Production Supervision: Oversee day-to-day operations in the fabrication shop, ensuring the timely and efficient production of solar structures.
    • Team Management: Supervise and manage a team of production workers, including welders, fabricators, and machine operators. Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and skill development.
    • Quality Control: Ensure that all fabricated components meet the required quality standards and specifications. Conduct regular inspections and implement corrective actions as needed.
    • Production Planning & Scheduling: Coordinate with the production planning team to develop production schedules, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget. Adjust schedules as necessary to meet changing priorities.
    • Resource Management: Ensure the availability of raw materials, tools, and equipment required for production. Work with the procurement team to maintain inventory levels and order materials as needed. Process Optimization Continuously monitor and improve fabrication processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain safety standards. Implement lean manufacturing principles and best practices.
    • Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety standards and company policies. Ensure all staff follow safety protocols and are provided with appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
    • Maintenance Coordination: Work with the maintenance team to ensure that production equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition. Report any equipment failures and coordinate repairs.
    • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate production records, including daily production logs, quality inspection reports, and inventory status. Provide regular updates to senior management on production performance and any issues.
    • Collaboration: Collaborate with design, engineering, and quality control teams to ensure smooth production processes and resolve any technical or design-related issues that arise.

    Required Skills and Qualifications:

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree or ITI.Poly diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
    • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role in fabrication, PEB, or solar structure manufacturing, with a strong understanding of welding, metalworking, and assembly processes.
    • Technical Expertise: Familiarity with fabrication and manufacturing processes for PEBs, solar structures, and steel components.
    • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team of production workers. Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities.
    • Quality Focus: Experience implementing quality control processes to ensure that products meet specifications and industry standards.
    • Production Planning: Knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and resource management. Experience with manufacturing software or ERP systems is a plus.
    • Safety Management: In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and best practices within a fabrication or industrial environment.
