The OT Staff Nurse plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of surgical procedures by assisting surgeons, maintaining a sterile environment, and providing pre- and post-operative care to patients. Responsibilities:

• Patient Care: Assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, and coordinating care with other healthcare professionals. 
• Medication Administration: Administering prescribed medications according to doctor's orders. 
• Vital Sign Monitoring: Monitoring and recording vital signs, symptoms, and behaviors, reporting any changes to the healthcare team. 
• Patient and Family Education: Educating patients and families about health conditions, recovery processes, and disease prevention. 
• Documentation: Maintaining accurate patient records and electronic health records (EHR). 
• Collaboration: Collaborating with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care. 
• Equipment Operation: Operating medical equipment and monitoring patient condition. 
• Environment Maintenance: Maintaining clean and well-equipped patient areas. 
• Patient Support: Providing emotional support to patients and their families.
