Job description

An IT Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications that meet user needs and business requirements. They work with programming languages, databases, and development frameworks to create efficient, scalable, and secure software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Software Development & Programming:

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using programming languages like Java, Python, C++, JavaScript, or .NET.
• Develop web, mobile, or desktop applications based on client or company requirements.
• Ensure software is optimized for performance, scalability, and security.

2. System Design & Architecture:

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into software specifications.
• Design application architecture, including front-end, back-end, database, and API integration.
• Work with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) when required.

3. Testing & Debugging:

• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and system testing to ensure software functionality.
• Identify and fix bugs, optimize performance, and improve system reliability.
• Work with QA teams to automate testing processes.

4. Database Management:

• Design and maintain databases (SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
• Write optimized queries for efficient data retrieval and storage.

5. Software Deployment & Maintenance:

• Deploy software applications to production environments.
• Monitor system performance and resolve technical issues.
• Provide software updates, patches, and enhancements as needed.

6. Collaboration & Teamwork:

• Work closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, and stakeholders to develop user-friendly applications.
• Participate in Agile development processes like Scrum and Sprint planning.
• Document technical specifications and development procedures.
