Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:
overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of fiber optic networks, managing a team of fiber technicians, ensuring adherence to industry standards, safety protocols, and project timelines while coordinating with project managers to deliver high-quality fiber optic infrastructure.

Team Management:

• Lead and supervise a team of fiber optic technicians, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing training.
• Conduct performance evaluations and address employee concerns.
• Ensure proper safety practices are followed by the team on-site.

Project Oversight:

• Collaborate with project managers to understand project requirements, timelines, and budget constraints.
• Monitor project progress and identify potential issues to ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and other departments to facilitate smooth project execution.

 Fiber Installation and Maintenance:

• Review fiber optic network designs and specifications.
• Oversee the installation of fiber optic cables, including trenching, conduit installation, and splicing.
• Monitor signal strength and quality, performing troubleshooting and repairs on fiber optic networks as needed.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on fiber optic equipment and infrastructure.
