    Job description

    AECOM is seeking an Environmental Chemist -Data Validation to be based in the Bengaluru India Enterprise Capabilities. This position will support a team based both locally and globally and offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement to include a combination of both in office and remote work schedules. 


    Roles and Responsibilities 

      • Review and validate laboratory data packages by United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) guidance to ensure compliance with published analytical methods and usability of environmental data.
      • Upload laboratory analytical data to specific client and regulatory databases.
      • Manage data in relational database systems like EarthSoft EQuIS, Locus EIM, MS Access, or other environment databases.
      • Prepare technical memoranda and white papers to be included in client deliverables.
      • Implement innovation and automation tools produced by the team.
      • Task management: Manage workloads assigned by chemistry staff within stipulated time. Should be flexible with working hours to support other geographical regions
      • Proficient in Level 2 and 3 data validation. Experience in Level 4 validation is a value add for this role, but not mandatory.
      • The project chemist will support quality assurance/quality control, data management, data analysis, and various analytical chemistry aspects of environmental investigations for our clients.
      • The candidate will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, developing their technical skills as a chemist while exploring new interests as well.
      • You’ll be valued as a unique resource as you contribute and support our project teams by providing key technical assistance for various environmental remediation and monitoring projects.

      Qualification:-

      • Bachelor’s/master’s degree in chemistry, Environmental Science, or another related discipline
      • 5-8 years of relevant experience in a Quality control laboratory and or demonstrated equivalency of experience and or education.
