We are seeking a skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor- MEP (Pre-Contract) to join our team in the Bangalore team, MESA project support. The role involves managing cost planning, estimating, measurement, and commercial analysis for GCC buildings and infrastructure scope - pre-contract stage. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurate Cost Planning, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), tender documentation, value engineering support, and commercial input to ensure competitive and compliant bids within the GCC.

Key Responsibilities

• Review design drawings, specifications, and scope documents for buildings and infrastructure packages.
• Perform detailed quantity take-offs at concept, schematic, and detailed / tender design stages.
• Prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and cost estimates in compliance with POMI, NRM, and CESMM standards as applicable.
• Support preparation of tender submissions, cost schedules, and rate build-ups.
• Conduct market research on material, labour, and subcontractor rates within the UAE.
• Participate in value engineering exercises, identifying cost optimisation opportunities.
• Assist in drafting tender and contract documents, ensuring commercial accuracy and clarity.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to validate rates and quotations.
• Provide commercial risk assessments, highlight discrepancies, and raise clarifications where required.
• Support bid review meetings and negotiations with consultants/clients.
• Maintain accurate cost data, benchmarks, and ensure timely delivery of all pre-contract outputs.

In this strategic leadership role, you will oversee the complete NAND Flash memory qualification lifecycle, drive innovation, and build a high-performing engineering team. You will be responsible for translating business objectives into technical strategies while maintaining operational excellence and delivering world-class solutions.

• Lead and mentor a team of NAND Technology Reliability engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• The candidate should have a vast experience in semiconductor industry along with strong skills in Failure Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, Device Physics and programming
• Develop and execute memory qualification strategies aligned with organizational goals and business demands
• Oversee the complete qualification lifecycle, from requirements gathering through successful memory qualification, ensuring timely delivery and attention to details
• Manage engineering budgets, resource allocation, and project timelines to optimize operational efficiency
• Make critical technical decisions based on the performance and reliability checkpoint data to judge the memory technology
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product engineering, test engineering and product management to ensure seamless delivery
• Develop and implement performance metrics to track engineering team productivity and deliverables quality
• Represent the team in executive meetings and strategic planning sessions

Tasks / Responsibilities:    

1. Designing and implementing software for embedded devices and systems.

2. Designing, developing, coding, testing, and debugging system software.

3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the product specification, software requirements, software design, etc.

4. Responsible for continuous improvement of software and processes to enhance efficiency, stability, and scalability.

5. Build proof of concepts and demonstrate technology feasibility of Innovative solutions.

6. Develop software according to functional and technical design specifications.

7. Strong in problem solving, Analyzing, troubleshooting approaches8. Provide required support to product teams as needed to determine system problems and fix.

Expected skill set:

1.     Design, develop and maintain the firmware for various electronic products using Embedded C++.

2.     Experience using Embedded RTOS (Free RTOS, Embos,..etc).

3.     Experience working with Peripheral buses (I2C, SPI, Serial, CAN).

4.     Adequate knowledge of reading schematics and data sheets for components.

5.     Develop and maintain technical documentation for firmware designs, including architecture diagrams.
