Job description:
The Lead Data Governance will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, data scientist and business stakeholders, to understand data governance requirements and ensure product/service goals and objectives are delivered while driving continuous improvement to the data maturity of enterprise. Additionally, this individual must be able to work effectively within a matrixed organization and demonstrate self-leadership skills.
Job Role
• Consult & support business and technology customers in understanding data governance and data management driving enterprise data maturity, and developing data strategies. Act as an overall SME in data management.
• Engage domain data leaders and practitioners in identifying data problems and use-cases that can fuel operational reporting, analytics and/or overall data-driven decisioning. Support the domain data leaders in implementing a data governance framework that aligns to enterprise strategy, policy and regulatory requirements and follows data management standard processes.
• Understand/document business requirements in the BI context and develop a methodology to implement policies, guidelines, tools, metrics, and standards for managing metadata.
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to identify and define data domains, develop/ implement a data catalogue to ensure consistent, accurate, and complete data documentation.
• Steer the Data Governance Stewardship Group meetings for aligning business functions on data governance initiatives. Develop playbooks and SOPS for data stewards to implement data governance and data management using enterprise tools.
• Conduct periodic analysis and research to identify key metrics, benchmarks, governance template that help enhancing the data governance and opportunities for improvement.
• Be proactive and on the lookout for opportunity that helps enforce required governance, controls and security across the organization.
• Develop data sharing ecosystem to ensure that data is available only to those who need it while maintaining data security.
• Develop and implement control/KPI that assures desired data quality and availability.
• Monitor the effectiveness of the data governance framework in cloud through respective Data Governance tools and recommend improvements as necessary.
Strongly Preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business administration or related field. Master’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred with necessary certifications.

We are seeking an experienced Lead Role in Distribution PSS to support the implementation and enhancement of our Distribution channel platform.
The successful candidate will work closely with cross functional teams to analyze business requirements and work collaboratively for implementation of the distribution channel.
The candidate will play a pivotal role in collaborating with our business team to drive the adoption of distribution strategies in all our digital channels.
Responsibilities:-
• Implement the Distribution strategy and vision ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Act as the primary point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders, overseeing domain-specific activities.
• Establish and document best practices, ensuring adherence and adoption.
• Strong collaboration, prioritization, and planning skills.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to support arguments with data.
• Understanding of Airline Domain Functionalities-Reservation systems and related areas
• Responsible for converting product roadmap into an actionable backlog for delivery prioritizing to meet the project deadlines.
• Conduct Market Research for product success and ensuring success on data driven factual for tracking product adoption.
• Work collaboratively with teams to research, analyze and document PSS functional requirements, use cases and supporting business rule for distribution strategy.
• Excellent time management skills, follow up to coordinate with various stakeholders of the project team members.
• Coordinate requirements walk through and sign offs with stakeholders to ensure that documentation portrays business needs.
• Monitor and track revenue performance of the various distribution’s platforms. Analyze booking trends and work with stakeholders to increase conversions.
• Closely work with implementation team for integration and work with vendors, internal and external teams to resolve any issues with the provider.
Requirements
• 15+ years of experience in Airline domain
• Deep subject matter expertise in Airline reservation system,Ticketing,DCS and related areas.
• Understanding of legacy PSS systems would be an advantage
• Business and data analysis with a focus on the airline domain -Amadeus Altea,Sabre experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Change management and Project implementation in the Airline industry.
• Experience in Agile teams and managing stakeholder relationships.
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Documentation and Presentation is a must.
