The Front Office Manager is responsible for ensuring we provide the highest level of guest service and ensuring that standards are maintained. The Front Office Manager will also lead and drive forward a motivated team of managers within the department and continuously look for ways to enhance growth and development for future leaders. 

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Ensuring department procedures and systems are maintained and effectively operated.
  
• Continuously evaluates department Standard Operating Procedures.
  
• Audit and development of guest information data on Opera.
  
• Drive Leading Hotels of the World and ALL Loyalty standards.
  
• Creating an environment that supports innovation and look for opportunities to improve operations.
  
• Pro-actively try out new ideas and technologies that would streamline. productivity and enhance overall guest experience in line with the budget and capex submission.
  
• Ensure productive and efficient communication between departments.
  
• To ensure effective running of PMS and all related interfaces.
  
• Building and improving on relationships with agents.
  
• Models the Organizational Values and Fairmont Standards.
  
• Reduction of departmental glitches to an acceptable weekly standard by minimizing revenue loss.
  
• Encouraging the use of the “Generosity Pot” across departments.
  
• Has operational managerial responsibility over all departments in the absence of the Exec and Department Head.
  
• Has responsibility for ad hoc project teams.
  
• Participates in ad hoc Job Training and coaching in departments to ensure effective service and operations.
  
• Has a thorough knowledge of the hotel and all services provided to the guest.
  
• Maintains a high standard of service, appearance, and social skills set according to the company policy.
  
• Works in harmony with all departments and employees, is willing to assist others if and when required.
  
• Attends all training workshops as and when required and deemed Mandatory by the Director of Rooms Division.
  
• Is familiar with all policies and procedures, house rules, LHW standards, All Loyalty Program, fire-, security-, and emergency procedures as well as all checklists pertaining to the position.
  
• Performs any reasonable duty as instructed by the Director of Rooms Division.

Based on experience, domain understanding and qualifications, successful applicants will be placed in the following positions.

Besides this, we will be considering relevant candidates for part-time consultant roles to work on various ongoing research projects at CCG for a certain period of time. Depending on the project(s) the consultant is hired to be involved in, the contract period will vary. The Consultant will research, author/ co-author, edit and review research papers, reports, policy responses, and any other publication, advise on research strategy and direction and related work of the Center.

Job Responsibilities

• Working independently and collaboratively with other members of the team to undertake academic and policy research and writing.
• Conducting in-depth legal, regulatory, policy and legislative analysis and developing policy recommendations.
• Undertaking high impact academic and policy-centric research and write briefs, reports, responses, blogs, articles, academic papers, and other documents
• Researching and writing policy papers, op-eds, blog posts, press releases, and memoranda.
• Representing CCG in the media and at events, roundtables, and conferences and before relevant governmental, and other bodies, domestically and internationally.
• Undertaking institutional tasks such as organising and conducting events, workshops, courses and other capacity building sessions, supporting on fundraising, supporting on communication and dissemination of research, etc.
• Applicants applying for Programme/Project Officer/Manager should also show initiative in managing both their own work, as well as the work of the team. They will play a significant leadership role which ranges from proactive agenda-setting to institutional, and team-building responsibilities.

Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS)

Job Description/Responsibilities

The Research/Data officer position will work under the technical supervision of a research associate and Manager/s leading the research studies at Saksham Pramaan, Tata Institute of Social Sciences.

The Research/Data Officer will:

• Study the quantitative and qualitative tools, suggest changes, refine the tools to make
• them user-friendly, and prepare APP-based forms for collecting data
• Coordinate and follow up with all the stakeholders and participants for data collection across all the data collection sites
• Develop a plan for data collection with the guidance of research associate and the study manager
• Organize the training for the consultants at the state/district level
• Monitor overall fieldwork and data collection process
• Travel across different states for data collection.
• Assist in primary (quantitative) data collection, collation and cleaning
• Follow up for secondary data across all the data collection sites
• Overlook the data management including transcription, translation processes
• Carry out secondary data analysis using NACO data
• Undertake qualitative as well as quantitative data analysis
• Assist in report writing
• Support other Saksham Pramaan work as needed/requested by the Programme Team
