Key responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:
1. Research and identify reliable suppliers for construction materials, including cement, steel, bricks, aggregates, plumbing, electrical items, and safety equipment.
2. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules while maintaining quality standards.
3. Evaluate vendor performance based on delivery timelines, material quality, and pricing accuracy.
4. Review material indent received from site engineers and project managers.
5. Collect and compare quotations from multiple vendors and prepare comparative cost statements for management approval.
6. Prepare and issue purchase orders (POs) with approved specifications, quantities, and pricing.
7. Coordinate with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure timely material deliveries.
8. Work with site storekeepers to monitor inventory levels and prevent shortages or excess stock.
9. Coordinate with quality control teams to verify that delivered materials meet required standards before acceptance.
10. Verify vendor invoices against purchase orders (POs) and goods received notes (GRNs).
11. Process and forward verified invoices to the accounts team for timely vendor payments.
