As a Lead Account Manager, you’ll work with some of our most valued customers, helping them grow with Freshworks while building long-term, trusted partnerships.
What you’ll do:
- Engage, discover & drive results: Grow key accounts through upsell, cross-sell, and renewals, consistently surpassing revenue goals while delivering meaningful impact for customers.
- Articulate Value: Build trust with executives by addressing critical challenges and positioning Freshworks as a partner that drives measurable business results.
- Execute the Sales Process: Lead complex sales cycles end-to-end, securing strategic wins and fostering long-term partnerships.
- Learn & collaborate: Champion collaboration across teams to uncover opportunities, strengthen retention, and expand customer success.
- Expand & Grow: Drive net revenue retention by identifying expansion and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts. Build strategic account plans, strengthen executive relationships, and deliver consistent forecasting and revenue execution. Travel, as required, to deepen partnerships, unlock new use cases, and represent Freshworks with purpose.
- Experience that counts: 8+ years in software sales, with a track record of success in growing existing accounts through upsell and cross-sell strategies, and a consistent record of meeting or exceeding goals.
- Strategic mindset: Proven ability to design and execute account plans while engaging confidently with executives, technical experts, and operational teams alike.
- Consultative approach: Skilled in building strong business cases and ROI stories that resonate with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong communicator: Excellent presentation, listening, and communication skills that foster value-driven, collaborative conversations.
- Domain knowledge: Familiarity with the CRM, CX, or ITSM space is a strong plus, though a willingness to learn and adapt is equally valued.
