ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Accountant I, Fund Accounting, is responsible for supporting end‑to‑end financial accounting and reporting activities for funds and related entities with complex holding structures, including SPVs, property companies, and holding companies. The role focuses primarily on day‑to‑day accounting execution and preparation, supporting month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end processes under the guidance and review of senior team members. The position contributes to accurate financial records, timely reporting, and audit readiness while gaining exposure to NAVs, management accounts, intercompany processes, and fund‑level reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Day‑to‑Day Accounting Support: Perform routine accounting activities including processing bank statements, recording incoming and outgoing invoices, posting transactions, and preparing accruals and provisions in accordance with established procedures.

• Schedules & Reconciliations: Prepare and maintain interest calculation schedules, amortization and depreciation schedules, month‑end balance sheet reconciliations, and intercompany reconciliations for review by senior team members.

• Financial Reporting Preparation: Assist in the preparation of financial statements, NAV calculations, management accounts, cash flow statements, and quarterly NAV and FMV reports under supervision.

• Intercompany & Administrative Support: Support intercompany settlement processes by preparing reconciliation details and assisting administration teams, and help compile financial data required for local tax filings (corporate income tax, GST) and lending bank information packages.

• Audit & Ad‑Hoc Assistance: Assist with year‑end and audit processes by preparing working papers, internal and external reports, consolidation support schedules, and ad‑hoc reports or reconciliations as requested.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Medical Strategy & Planning

• Execute the Medical Affairs plan for DRL new product launch in EM countries
• Provide strategic inputs to cross-functional teams including marketing, strategy, regulatory, portfolio and clinical development
• Support the creation of target patient profiles, CLM contents and contribute to product differentiation strategies

1. Scientific Engagement & Communication

• Build and maintain relationships with a set of KOLs globally and support country teams (MSL/ commercial) to address HCP queries
• Organize and lead COE-driven scientific events such as advisory boards, global webinars, and ISPs
• Disseminate scientific updates at internal and external meetings on product and therapy area

1. Evidence Generation & Publications

• Support DRL sponsored or investigator initiated studies, real-world evidence generation, and post-marketing surveillance, as and when required
• Contribute to scientific publications, conference proceedings, and subsequent development of HCP communication on those studies

1. Other Core Internal and Administrative Support

• Review and approve promotional materials/ events/ FMV calculation/ KOL tiering and ensure compliance with SOPs and regulatory standards
• Conduct training sessions for internal teams (MSLs/ commercial) on disease area, product knowledge, guidelines, differentiation etc. at regular interval
• Provide scientific and clinical support to sales, marketing, portfolio and strategy teams

1. Market Insights & Future Strategy Development

• Gather and analyse customer insights and market trends to further strengthen medical and commercial strategies
• Evaluate new products and provide medical rationale for portfolio expansion in related disease area
• Support digital content creation, review, and approval for DRL platforms and leverage technology for scientific exchange and stakeholder engagement

Reports To :           Manager Supply Planning & Buying

• Supply Planning: 

• Translate demand forecasts in determining what to purchase to meet future needs.
• Develop, monitor, and adjust the Master Production Plan (MPP) and inventory replenishment plans.
• Track plan versus actual, discussion and fix the gaps with manufacturing team.
• Maintain optimal stock levels, prevent shortages, and reduce excess inventory.
• Identify supply shortages or logistics risks, creating mitigation plans to ensure continuity.
• Work with Sales, Operations, and Marketing to align supply strategies with business goals.
• Rough cut capacity planning input to S&OP meet.
• Prioritize work orders, manage production schedules, and adjust for fluctuations in demand.
• Utilize ERP systems (like SAP) to maintain data accuracy and create KPI reports on vendor performance and inventory turnover.

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with logistics, sales, marketing, and operations to align on demand forecasts and product lifecycles
