    Job Description :

    Standard Hotel Room Cleaning Procedure

    1. Preparation

    • Knock and announce: “Housekeeping!”

    • Wait 10 seconds, knock again if needed.

    • Enter carefully and check if the guest is present.

    • Open curtains and turn on lights.

    • Keep your cleaning cart parked safely outside the room.


    2. Initial Tasks

    • Collect trash from all bins.

    • Remove used linens (bed sheets, pillowcases, duvet cover if required).

    • Remove used towels and bath mats.

    • Check for guest belongings before moving items.


    3. Bed Making

    If checkout room:

    • Strip the bed entirely.

    • Spread fresh fitted sheet → flat sheet → duvet/blanket → make hospital corners.

    • Add clean pillowcases.

    • Smooth and align everything neatly.

    If stay-over room:

    • Change linens only if dirty or requested.

    • Refluff pillows and align.


    4. Bathroom Cleaning

    • Spray disinfectant on: sink, faucet, toilet, shower area.

    • Let it sit for a minute.

    • Clean and scrub:

      • Sink & countertop

      • Mirror

      • Toilet (inside and outside)

      • Shower walls, tub, and fixtures

    • Replace with fresh:

      • Towels

      • Bath mat

      • Amenities (soap, shampoo, lotion, shower cap)

    • Restock toilet paper and tissues.


    5. Room Cleaning

    Dusting

    • Dust all surfaces: tables, shelves, lamp bases, picture frames.

    • Wipe TV screen lightly (no harsh chemicals).

    Furniture & Fixtures

    • Check under bed and drawers.

    • Clean headboard, desk, and chair.

    • Sanitize high-touch points:

      • Light switches

      • Remote control

      • Phone

      • Doorknobs

      • Thermostat

    Glass & Mirrors

    • Clean mirrors and any glass surfaces using glass cleaner.


    6. Floor Care

    • Vacuum the carpet thoroughly.

    • Mop hard floors from inside to outside.

    • Move lightweight furniture to clean underneath if required.


    7. Final Touches

    • Replace amenities (water bottles, coffee/tea supplies).

    • Close curtains neatly.

    • Set room temperature.

    • Check lights, TV, and remote.

    • Ensure the room smells fresh.

    • Do a final walkthrough to confirm cleanliness.


    8. Report Anything

    • Lost & Found items

    • Maintenance issues (broken lights, leaking taps, AC problems)

    • Damaged or stained items

    Position Title: Office Boy
    Department: Administration
    Reports To: Office Manager / Supervisor

    Job Overview:
    We are looking for a diligent, energetic, and reliable Office Boy to support the office operations with tasks that include maintaining cleanliness, assisting the staff, and ensuring a smooth work environment. The ideal candidate should be proactive, flexible, and capable of managing various responsibilities to ensure that both the office and staff have everything they need to work efficiently.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Cleaning & Dusting:
      • Regular cleaning and dusting of office spaces, including desks, floors, windows, and common areas.
      • Ensure all areas are clean, hygienic, and well-maintained throughout the workday.
    2. Maintaining the Pantry:
      • Ensure the pantry area is always clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies (e.g., snacks, tea, coffee, sugar, etc.).
      • Take care of the kitchen appliances and ensure they are in working condition.
      • Keep track of pantry supplies and assist in restocking as required.
    3. Coffee & Tea Preparation:
      • Prepare and serve tea, coffee, and refreshments to staff and management.
      • Ensure that hot beverages are always available when required.
    4. Office Assistance:
      • Provide administrative support to staff by making sure necessary office supplies and materials are available.
      • Assist with photocopying, scanning, and delivering documents within the office as required.
    5. Delivery of Samples/Office Items:
      • Deliver office samples, documents, and packages to various locations (within the office building or external destinations) as requested.
      • Ensure timely and safe delivery of materials to clients or other departments.
    6. Travel for Office Purposes:
      • If required, assist with traveling to external locations for office-related errands (e.g., picking up supplies, deliveries, etc.).
      • Having a two-wheeler would be considered an advantage for ease of travel.
    7. End-of-Day Responsibilities:
      • Be the last to leave the office/showroom after all staff have left.
      • Ensure the office/showroom is properly closed and secured, including switching off lights, locking doors, and ensuring all equipment is safely powered down.
      • Ensure the premises are neat and clean before departure.
    8. Other Duties:
      • Assist the staff with general requests and ensure a comfortable and organized office environment.
      • Carry out any additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.

    Qualifications & Skills:

    • Minimum education: High School diploma or equivalent.
    • Experience in a similar role is a plus.
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize well.
    • Good communication skills and an approachable demeanor.
    • Reliability, punctuality, and trustworthiness.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • A two-wheeler would be beneficial for performing travel-related tasks.

    Work Conditions:

    • Full-time position.
    • The work environment is office-based, and you will be required to work from the office premises during regular business hours.
