• Planning, scheduling, and execution of HV transmission line projects including:
  • Prepare cost estimates, project budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Coordinate with project managers, clients and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Coordination and technical leadership in the delivery of HV transmission line engineering and design projects/packages. 
• Developing transmission line alignments, profiles, and structure spotting using PLS-CADD.
• Performing sag-tension analysis and validating clearances in accordance with relevant standards (e.g. EN 50341, NG TS 2.04).
• Preparing and reviewing design deliverables including plan/profile drawings, stringing charts, structure schedules, and loading reports.
• Assessing tower and pole structure loading and coordinating foundation designs with geotechnical inputs.
• Leading and/or contributing to the following project types:
  • New transmission line designs (greenfield)
  • Reconductoring and sag-tension recalculations
  • Uprating and clearance improvement studies
  • Structure/pole strength assessments and retrofits
  • Foundation strengthening (e.g., pile extensions, grillage upgrades)
  • Line cut-ins, tee-offs, and route deviations
  • Tower/pole replacements and asset renewal
  • OPGW or earthwire replacement and shielding reviews
  • Participating in design reviews, QA/verification processes, and constructability assessments.
  • Supporting delivery of construction-ready drawings and material schedules.
  • Coordinating with drafting, structural, civil, electrical, and geotechnical teams for integrated design outputs.
  • Providing guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and contributing to continuous improvement through lessons learned and design innovation.

Structural Design Engineer is required to work on the predominantly Temporary structures design review, and Metro rail structures design in general, for the ongoing project. The successful candidate will continue to work and contribute to the STRUCTURES Business units, for the design of ongoing, upcoming metro rail design projects and on Railway structures design.

• Conduct thorough design reviews of Temporary structures, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
• Develop and execute complex structural designs for Metro rail projects, adhering to strict safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate structural designs with other engineering disciplines.
• Perform advanced structural analysis using industry-standard software such as STAAD and MIDAS.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and design documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and methodologies within the STRUCTURES Business unit.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on structural design principles and best practices.
• Conduct site visits to assess structural integrity and provide expert recommendations.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations to communicate design concepts and solutions effectively.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in structural engineering, particularly in the context of Metro and Railway structures.
• Ensure all designs meet project deadlines and budget constraints without compromising on quality or safety.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to maintain the highest standards of structural integrity in all projects.

• Experience in machinery such as CNC milling, HSM, EDM, Wire cut, Grinding, CMM, and Laser welding machines to manufacture mold tool components, in accordance with Work Instructions and Process Quality Instructions.
• Experience in preventative maintenance, repair of injection molds and associated dies and fixtures, tool assembly and fitting process.
• Tool management system knowledge - tooling spare part quality improvement and stock optimization.
• Mechanical Design & development of new mold tools for new products/projects.
• Design review with tool suppliers to ensure lesson learnt & design standards are implemented.
• New tool tryouts & trouble shooting.
• Good knowledge of Tool design software (MFA, Catia, ProE…)
• Tool room experience to make dies, punches as well as fixtures is desired.
• knowledge of interpretation of tool and engineering drawings, GD&T, sketches, templates, manuals, etc.
• Skilled in Mold tool supplier development, coordination & negotiations.
• Basic knowledge on quality management system, process audits, special process (IATF-16949, VDA6.3 & CQI 23)
• Basic know-how on APQP, PPAP
• Hands on experience on SPC
