We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Engineer Intern to assist in the design, development, and execution of Capture The Flag (CTF) challenges and assessments. This role is ideal for individuals enthusiastic about offensive security, problem-solving, and hands-on learning in real-world cyber scenarios.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop beginner to intermediate-level CTF challenges (e.g., web exploitation, reverse engineering, cryptography, OSINT, forensics, etc.).
Test and validate challenges for accuracy, difficulty, and engagement.
Assist in conducting CTF events, monitoring participant progress, and evaluating performance.
Build writeups and solutions for internal documentation.
Work with the cybersecurity team to simulate realistic attack scenarios for training and evaluation.
Help automate the deployment and teardown of challenges using containers or virtual machines (e.g., Docker).
Requirements:
Basic knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, ethical hacking, and vulnerability analysis.
Familiarity with Linux, scripting (Python/Bash), and web technologies.
Passion for CTFs, bug bounties, or related hands-on learning platforms (e.g., Hack The Box, TryHackMe, PicoCTF).
Good communication and documentation skills.
Bonus: Experience with CTF platforms like CTFd, RootTheBox, or custom infrastructure.
